Meet Viggo the Vanquisher.

Admittedly, he's not very scary BUT he's a traveller. So far, he's gone all the way to Ventura to frolic in the ocean. He's also been to Solvang, and Disneyland, and soon, he'll be heading for a roadtrip on the California coast.

So. Stuff. It's been a while since a proper update. I guess it's no big news that this year has majorly sucked on a personal level. I was let down majorly by someone who I thought was my best friend and who's thrown a major monkey wrench into my sanity. I don't want to get into details, but those who know have been nothing but great and helpful. I love my friends.

Another thing that sucked balls was prop 8 passing. That broke my heart. As a state, I thought we Californians were progressive, but I guess all the narrow minded and bible thumpers worked together and came out of the woodwork in droves. It's sad. Why can't people be more accepting?

On the flip side, the good things, among others were: Obama president! Road trip to San Francisco via California coast with Michelle in December! The end of the year!

I'm glad this year is ending as well as it's panning to be. Fingers crossed nothing else happens... I can't wait to be able to move forward and leave 08 behind.

I'm so not laughing, weather!

I've decided to stop riding the Mantis and get myself a better suited bike. I ride path and street mostly and I want something that will be better suited for that purpose.

After some research, I've narrowed it down to the Trek 7000 WSD and the Trek Navigator 2.0. They are both hybrid bikes which means they are cruiser type bike with terrain wheels, if that makes sense.

At this point I'm leaning more towards the Trek 7000 WSD because it has bigger wheels, and would be easier to ride (bigger wheels=more traction). The Trek Navigator 2.0 is better suited for commuting, which I plan on integrating in the coming months, as my car is on its last legs.

Color wise the Trek Navigator 2.0 definitely better, but I'm not too concerned about that. Almost.
